Inn Policies
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: Most guests arrive between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. If you expect to arrive earlier, please let us know so we can be ready to meet you. Late arrival requires special arrangements so as not to disturb other guests. Checkout time is 12:00 p.m. It is often possible to arrange a late departure.
RESERVATIONS: Held pending receipt of deposit.
DEPOSIT: A deposit for the amount of one night's stay plus tax is required at the time of the reservation. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Diner's Club. Personal checks are welcome if received 7 days in advance of reservation.
CANCELLATIONS: Require 24 hours notice prior to date of arrival. We kindly request that you give us as much advance notice as possible if you wish to cancel or change your reservation.
SMOKING: Courteous smoking is allowed only on the dock area. Smoking is not permitted in the rooms, balcony area or porch.
CHILDREN: We welcome all people who enjoy nature and can respect the wishes of those who feel the same.
PETS: Sorry, we do not allow pets. However, there is a wonderful dog kennel one short mile away.
CLOSEST CITIES/AIRPORTS: Harlingen International Airport, 35 minute drive from the Inn: Southwest Airlines, Continental. Brownsville International Airport, 35-minute drive from the Inn: Continental Airlines. McAllen Miller Airport. 65 minute drive from the Inn: American Airlines, Continental Airlines.
DINING: A continental breakfast and fresh ground coffee is served at 7:30 in the dining room. Lunch and dinner may be found at any of our local restaurants in Los Fresnos, or a short drive to South Padre Island, Brownsville or Mexico. We offer suggestions based on your dining preferences.
